Emily & James get married…in Jamaica! Ya Mon!

Hard to believe that when Emily first said something about me going to Jamaica to shoot her wedding…I seriously turned it down.  Crazy right??  But…as it turns out, my husband and I were lucky enough to be able to go and be a part of, not just their wedding, but whatever they were doing.  We barely saw the sun (hopefully they’re seeing it again) and it rained much of the time but what an awesome trip and even more awesome experience.  Emily was open to whatever I had in mind but she also brought along her own ideas which is pretty nice.  I even got to try a few new things…shooting in the rain and back lighting in the dark.  I think we got some pretty fantastic shots…while Tom took care of video.  We’re thinking of creating a team…I do the photography, he takes the video. ha ha

Thank you Emily and James for this incredible opportunity and experience and to everyone for welcoming us as a part of the group!  Tom and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!!

Joe & Jess

Joe and Jess had a small backyard wedding and it was incredibly beautiful.  Though we expected rain at one point, we had nothing but blue skies and sunshine.  It was just an all around gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple.  I had such a great time working with two and captured some awesome shots.

Thank you Joe and Jess for the wonderful afternoon!  I wish you both many years of blissful happiness!

Samantha and Michael…

This wedding touched my heart like no other.  I’ve known Samantha for years so to be able to see her get married…it was just very touching.  But I have truly never witnessed such incredible heartfelt emotion at a wedding like I did with this one.  Happiness was abundant but that’s usually a given.  There was… Continue reading Samantha and Michael…

Mr & Mrs Alan Groff

I can honestly say that 28 years ago I never thought I would photograph the wedding of my friends little sister.  But that’s exactly what happened and I’m so glad it did.  Sara was a stunning bride, on a gorgeous day and in a beautiful place.  Despite the fact that it was supposed to rain later in… Continue reading Mr & Mrs Alan Groff

Meet the Miller’s

I was offered the opportunity to shoot this wedding only 2 months ago and man I’m glad for that opportunity.  This was such an incredibly awesome bunch of people from the moment I got there.  They were not only welcoming but incredibly fun and down to earth.  There might have been a few times that I needed to keep the guys in line…but we accomplished a great deal in short time spans.  I don’t know that I could have had any more fun.  Thank you Michelle for setting it all up and a huge thank you to Lindsay, Chris and their entire wedding party for the fun times. I hope you all enjoys these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! 🙂  Best wishes to you both and your family…wish you many years of happiness!
